Hi, I’m Tess — a nurse and founder of The WellKind.
As a nurse, I’ve always cared about health, but over time I became especially interested in functional health and the everyday things that shape how we feel — the products we use, the routines we keep, and the environments we create around us.
When I first started trying to reduce my toxin exposure, I honestly didn’t know where to begin. I’d fall into these deep internet rabbit holes, reading conflicting information, watching people say completely opposite things, and feeling like I needed to throw everything out and start over.
It was overwhelming in a very specific way — not just “too much information,” but also a lot of fear, pressure, and extremes. One minute something was “clean,” the next it was being called toxic. I just wanted someone to tell me what actually mattered.
And instead, I felt more confused.
Wellness has become extremely overwhelming, and quite frankly, exhausting — and I don’t think it should feel that way!
So I created The Wellkind. A space to make healthier living feel simpler and more realistic again — with thoughtful products, grounded information, and small changes that actually fit into everyday life.

What We’re About
This is a space for anyone who’s new to low-tox living, or for people who simply want better, safer options without overthinking it.
I believe ingredients matter — especially in the things we use every day — but this is never about doing everything “right.” If it’s not practical, realistic, and something I’d genuinely recommend to a friend, it doesn’t make the cut.
More than anything, I want The WellKind to feel like a calm, welcoming space you can come back to — no pressure, no judgment, just simple, helpful ideas for healthier living.
