Meet tess
Let’s make healthy living simple
Hi, I’m Tess — a nurse and founder of The Wellkind.
I started this space because when I was trying to reduce my own toxin exposure, I kept running into the same problem: finding better products felt way harder than it needed to be. Everything was overwhelming, extreme, or unclear — and I just wanted simple swaps and trustworthy options.
The Wellkind is the resource I wish I had back then.

What We’re About
This is a place for anyone who’s new to low‑tox living and for people who simply want better, safer options without overthinking it. I share low‑tox home swaps, clean beauty finds, and non‑toxic gift ideas that make everyday decisions feel easier.
I think ingredients matter — especially the things we use every day — but this is never about doing everything ‘right’. If it’s not practical, realistic, and something I’d recommend to a friend, it doesn’t make the cut.
More than anything, I want The Wellkind to feel like a community — supportive, approachable, and judgment‑free.
If you’re trying to make healthier choices without replacing everything you own, you’re in the right place 🤍
